Bob Feller (November 3, 1918 – December 15, 2010), nicknamed "Rapid Robert" and "Bullet Bob", was an American baseball pitcher who played 18 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cleveland Indians between 1936 and 1956.

Feller was one of the most dominant pitchers in MLB history. He had a career record of 266-162 with a 3.25 ERA and 2,581 strikeouts. He led the American League in strikeouts seven times and in wins six times. He was also a three-time All-Star and a two-time World Series champion.

Feller was known for his blazing fastball, which was often clocked at over 100 miles per hour. He was also a master of the curveball and the slider. Feller's fastball was so feared that opposing batters would often step out of the batter's box to avoid being hit.

Feller's career was interrupted by World War II, but he returned to baseball after the war and continued to pitch at a high level. He threw three no-hitters in his career, including one in 1946 that was the first no-hitter in MLB history after the war.

Feller retired from baseball in 1956. He was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1962.

Feller was a true legend of the game. He was one of the most dominant pitchers in MLB history and a true sports icon.
